What are your findings?

• Pueto rio is not americanized 

• Hurricanes have hit there island and devastated there community

• The amount of tourist there grows making the people seem uncultured 

What new info have you learned?

• I found that not all puerto rican individuals feel americanized

• Skin color is a big issue that is whispered when young

• Puerto Rico is very safe compared to NYC 

What answers surprised you?

• I reacted to when my interview explained that puerto rico schools were more then just learning having dancing and swimming classes in the curriculum.

• I’m so surprised that she didn’t say she felt americanized because especially in highschool this idea that the people feel oppressed and basically chained to the US was my perception on the matter

What answers led to feel? React? Wonder?

• I reacted when it was said that puerto rico is so safe you could just eat from random person. In the street of NYC you would get poisoned if you were to do so.

• I wonder how color issue might have been answered if i had asked a puerto rican with a darker complexion.
